Commercial Furniture Sales Representative

T.O.R. is looking for a Commercial Furniture Sales Representative

Do you have experience in commercial interiors?  Are you ready to work with an exceptional sales team who work collaboratively with each other and their clients?

We form “partnerships” in which prospects play an engaging role in the search for the best solution. We work together on the solution and together build a commitment to its successful implementation.  Our team-approach begins internally with the T.O.R. sales team working together to identify opportunities, close and manage the deals.  With an exceptional support team including project managers, CAD specialists, and project administrators you will have the industry’s best to work with.

The Job

Reporting to the CEO, you will work strategically with the business development team to grow commercial furniture business by creating customized solutions to meet customers’ needs, negotiating the sale and closing the deal.

This position will coordinate and tactically manage projects through the entire sales process and is fully responsible for client management and client satisfaction.  You will build strong long-standing relationships with architects, designers, industry partners, and commercial decision makers,  through frequent contact, meetings, presentations and solutions which will maximize product sales, profit and market presence of T.O.R. in the architectural and design community.  You will also work with end users directly.

The Person

For successful consideration, you must bring at least five years of experience in a B2B sales environment dealing with customers who are senior business leaders.  Experience in the commercial interior furniture industry or a related industry is a definite asset, as is post-secondary education in marketing, business administration or related fields.  Proven success in client management is a must.  An understanding of the sales process in a long sales cycle environment and “how to create a competitive advantage” through relationship building and being a trusted resource, are significant qualities in this role.

A flexible and open approach, a demonstrated ability to go above and beyond the call of duty to achieve results and an enthusiastic and positive attitude are a must.  Strong writing skills, a collaborative team approach, a confident and decisive demeanor and a goal focused outlook is ideal.

This position is based out of the Vancouver office and offers competitive commission-based compensation, car allowance and benefits.
